Like the basic structure of a house- walls, floor, roof - grammar rules provides the framework of language. Personal and regional variations contribute elements that both complicate and enrich the final product. As we grow in understanding of the basic grammar of language, these regional differences become less and less daunting, more and more enriching, like new ingredientes added to a basic food. As they say, variety is definitely the spice of life.
